The Cairngorm GTX Gaiters are fully waterproof and very breathable, made from Taslan on the upper panels, using a 3 layer Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. They have a front opening with a zip and velcro storm flap and press stud at the bottom to ensure a secure fastening.

There is also a hook to fasten down onto your laces with reinforced ripstop polyester elastication around the ankle to offer extra protection. To sit underneath the heel of your boots are the durable, adjustable and replaceable non slip boot strap. To ensure they stay up on the back at the top of your calf they have an adjustable drawcord. 

A note on the sizing- The size is also determined by how tall you are not just your shoe size. Ideally gaiters (unless ankle ones) should sit just below your knee on the top of the back of your calf to stop them from falling down.
